Accolades and Awards.

In 2018 Noel made a short film about an old school friend. The film was an official selection at the Richard Harris International Film Festival.

That was the moment everything changed…

Watch “I Created You” here.

Unlike many photographers, Noel’s journey began in filmmaking. After finding early success there, he began to feel the pull toward photography and in particular black and white photography, the allure of telling a story in a single image. Noel became fascinated by the notion that in a fraction of a second one could portray an entire story, a moment in time preserved forever in a single frame.

“Learn to trust your dreams, learn the language of your dreams.”

These are the words of my uncle, the playwright, Tom McIntyre.

At an event held in Cavan, November 2019 to celebrate his life’s work, he was asked by a member of the audience, what advice he would give to young people wanting to get into the arts, writing, filmmaking.
